High School Art Classes

Portfolio Building & HSC Support (Years 7–12) · Wentworth Point, Sydney

A focused studio art program for high school students serious about developing their skills.

Our High School Art Classes are designed for students in Years 7–12 who want more than casual art-making. This program supports students undertaking HSC Visual Arts, preparing portfolios for university or TAFE, or pursuing creative pathways with intention and discipline.

Classes are structured, in-depth and studio-based, giving students the space, guidance and challenge they need at this important academic stage.

What our High School Art Classes offer

This is a studio where students are taken seriously.

Students work on longer-term projects that allow time for research, planning, experimentation and refinement. Teaching supports students to develop their own creative voice while learning how to apply technique, theory and art knowledge independently.

This is not a step-by-step “copy the teacher” class.
It’s a focused studio environment where thinking, process and intention matter.

What students learn in our High School Art Classes

Through regular participation, students develop:

  • advanced drawing, painting and mixed media techniques

  • strong understanding of composition, colour and visual storytelling

  • applied knowledge of art history and contemporary practice

  • ability to plan, refine and resolve complex artworks

  • confidence making independent creative decisions

  • discipline, focus and follow-through on extended projects

Students learn not just how to make art, but why choices matter.
