There is something magical about watching a three year old realise they just made something beautiful. That moment of pure delight, the wide eyes, the immediate "look what I did!" is what Mini Creatives is all about. Our preschool art program is designed for curious little people aged 3.5 to 5 who are ready to explore, experiment and discover what their hands can do.

Through our structured, age-appropriate program, our educators introduce children to colour, texture, pattern and process in a way that builds focus, fine motor skills and, most importantly, the joy of making something.

What your child will explore

  • Colour mixing, painting and mark-making with a range of materials

  • Collage, cutting, sticking and texture play

  • Drawing and pattern-making at their own pace

  • Listening, taking turns and working alongside others

  • Beginning to talk about what they've made, and feeling proud of it

Every project is age-appropriate, every session is calm and structured, and every child is encouraged, never compared.

Does my child need prior experience?
Not at all. Mini Creatives is designed for children who have never been in a structured art class before. All we ask is that they're curious and willing to try.

What if my child is shy or finds new environments tricky?
Many of our Mini Creatives students cling to a parent on their first day. By their second session they are running in. Our educators are warm, patient and experienced with this age group. We give children the time they need to settle, and we never rush that process.

What do they actually make?
Every week, we start off with a book and we build from there. Children take their finished artwork home at the end of every class, and we have yet to meet a parent who wasn't pleasantly surprised by what their 4-year-old produced.
