A Little Bite Studio Annual Student Exhibition
Every year, A Little Bite Studio holds an exhibition of student artwork. Not a portfolio folder sent home in a plastic sleeve — a real exhibition. Framed work. Proper lighting. Name cards. Family and friends invited to attend. It is one of our favourite moments of the year, and one of the most important things we do.
Why we hold an exhibition
There is something that happens when a child's artwork is displayed publicly. Something shifts. The work stops being just a thing they made on a Tuesday afternoon and becomes something worth looking at. Worth talking about. Worth being proud of. We hold the exhibition because we believe every child deserves that experience. The experience of standing next to something they created, hearing people respond to it, and understanding — in a way no certificate or gold star can quite deliver — that what they made matters. It also marks something. A year of growth. A body of work. A child who is different, in small and important ways, from who they were at the start of the year.
What the exhibition looks like
The exhibition is held at Wentworth Point each end of the year and is open to families, friends and the wider community. Each student selects one piece from their year's work to exhibit. The work is mounted, labelled and displayed as you would expect in any gallery. The exhibition includes time to walk through the gallery with your child. It has become, for many of our families, one of the highlights of the year.
"Last year we were invited to our daughter's art work exhibition which had been so meaningful and memorable for her and us as a parent."
— Francisca Cheng, A Little Bite Studio parent
When is the next exhibition?
The 2026 A Little Bite Studio Exhibition will be held on December at Wentworth Point. All currently enrolled families will receive a personal invitation in mid November. If you would like to be notified about future exhibitions, join our mailing list.
