Something shifts for children aged 5 to 8 when they are taught properly. They stop saying "I can't draw" and start saying "look what I made." Junior Creatives is our structured art program for this age group, designed to build real foundations through projects that feel achievable and produce results that genuinely impress.
Every session introduces a new skill or technique, always at a pace that builds confidence rather than pressure. By the end of term your child will have a portfolio of work that surprises you, and a quiet pride in themselves that you will notice well beyond the studio.
What your child builds over a term
Foundational drawing skills: line, shape, proportion and observation
Painting techniques using a variety of brushes and tools
Exploration of different materials: pastels, collage, mixed media
The ability to focus on a project and see it through to completion
Real confidence in their own creative voice
