At 9 to 14, children are ready to go deeper. They can hold an idea across multiple sessions, make intentional decisions about their work, and produce pieces that genuinely reflect who they are. Creative Explorers is where that transformation happens. Students in this program regularly surprise themselves with what they are capable of.

Classes are structured around a term-long theme, giving students the time and space to develop ideas properly rather than rushing to finish. Skills build deliberately, term on term. So does confidence. So does the work.

What your child develops this term

  • Observational drawing: learning to really see, not just look

  • Painting skills across acrylic, watercolour and mixed media

  • Art history connections: understanding where techniques come from

  • The ability to plan, refine and complete a multi-session project

  • A growing creative identity and their own way of approaching a brief
