Grace Choi, founder of A Little Bite Studio kids art classes in Wentworth Point

Meet Grace, Founder of Sydney's A Little Bite Studio

A Little Bite Studio started in 2017 with a simple conviction: that children deserve art education that actually teaches something. Not free painting time, not busy work, not projects that look the same for every child. Real guidance, real progression, and a genuine belief in what every single child is capable of.

Grace founded the studio in 2017, drawing on her background in Bachelor of Visual Arts, majoring in painting and printmaking and a long-held belief that the creative skills children build in the studio follow them into every area of life.

Eight years on, A Little Bite Studio has welcomed over 1,000 students through its doors, from 3 year olds discovering paint for the very first time to 14 year olds entering art competitions and building impressive folios. Every one of them has been taught with the same care and the same conviction that brought the studio to life.

"I started A Little Bite Studio because I believe every child deserves a space where they're genuinely guided, not just given paint and told to go for it."

Our Educators

Every educator at A Little Bite Studio shares the same commitment to intentional, patient teaching. Our educators follow a structured curriculum and hold themselves to a high standard, because every student deserves genuine teaching, not just supervision.

  • Miss Joie

Miss Joie is a dedicated art teacher who loves inspiring young artists to think creatively and explore their imagination. With a supportive and engaging approach, she encourages children to experiment with colour, texture, and new ideas. Miss Joie believes every child has a unique creative voice that deserves to be celebrated. Her classes help students build confidence, develop artistic skills, and take pride in their work.

  • Miss Fiona

Miss Fiona is an enthusiastic art teacher who enjoys guiding children through fun and creative projects. With a patient and encouraging teaching style, she helps students feel comfortable exploring new materials and artistic techniques. Miss Fiona believes creativity grows when kids feel supported to try, make mistakes, and discover their own ideas. Her classes nurture confidence, curiosity, and a love for making art.

  • Miss Amelia

Miss Amelia is a bubbly, energetic art teacher who loves creating alongside her students. With a hands-on teaching style and a natural ability to connect with kids, she fills the studio with laughter, curiosity, and colourful creativity. Miss Amelia believes children thrive when they feel relaxed, supported, and free to explore their ideas through art. Her classes encourage young artists to experiment, build confidence, and feel proud of what they create.

What we believe

We believe that every child is creative, and that creativity, like any skill, grows with the right teaching and the right environment.

We believe in the quality of the program, because good art education requires real structure, real skill progression and a teacher who genuinely knows what they are doing. We believe in structured curricula, because progression matters. And we believe that the confidence children build here, the willingness to try, to make mistakes and try again, is one of the most valuable things we give them.

Art isn't a talent you're born with. It's a skill you develop. And we're here to help your child develop it.
